− Room was underwhelming. Very basic. Air conditioner unit rattled.

7.0Everything was clean and well kept on the property when we arrived. The pool area was clean and restaurant too. Our room was semi clean. Bugs had been killed on the corners of the walls and left to dry on the white paint. The shade had black spots on them. I could not make out what it was. Either burned marks or what. Air conditioner must have broken at some point and the wooded in closure was taken off to fix but instead of fixing it properly just laid the wood back to look like it had been secured. I also forgot to mention the spots on the carpeting. When communicating to the manager it really wasn’t addressed but just dismissed it with an apology. 2 bottles of water were left in the room for $3 a piece. We did not drink them. For $6 it was worth purchasing a case. When we had left and I was reviewing my bill I had noticed I was charged for the bottles of water that we had not drank. I called the hotel to ask if they could credit my account. Six dollars isn’t a big deal but it is the point that you can not charge something that someone did not use. The charges have not been resolved. I will be calling the Better Business Bureau to report this. It’s unfortunate that customers service is what ruined our experience. We will not be returning. I would like to think the we weren’t treated poorly because we booked our stay through Booking.com.
