Great if you’re looking for a traditional house
9.0We were looking for an experience at a comfortable traditional house and this was a great choice. Comfy bed, great shower, house equipped with several useful things (e.g. beach towels, waterproof phone case for snorkeling, coffee powder, Brita water filter….). The owner really makes you feel welcome without ever meeting you (all checkin and checkout through a locker by the door).
− Minor things that for us were not an issue but might be for others: dirt road path to the house a bit bumpy; bathroom had a bit of sewage smell sometimes (don’t think there actual plumbing in the area).

7.0The shower is good.
− It is way too small for a family of 4. You absolutely have to get a rental car. There are no restaurants open in the area for dinner, no convenience stores, and no local bus service in either direction in the evening. And taxis operate at their convenience, not yours. However the beaches are beautiful as is the sea life, and that is what you come to Ishigaki for… But if you are travelling half way around the world for a vacation in Okinawa, do your research before booking or simply get that rental car.

10.0The host thought of everything one would need on vacation! We went to Ishigaki to snorkel so the house was a great location near Yonehara Beach and Crystal Beach. It was great to have a fully equipped kitchen to cook our own meals, yet there were many restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again.
