Very disappointed with the standard of this cottage and expensive for what it is
3.0We love the Isle of Wight so staying in Yarmouth was great , we had our own parking space which was a bonus .
− The cottage is dated , the furniture is shoddy and uncomfortable especially the chairs in the dinning room , the small armchairs in the lounge The kitchen is old fashioned and has very shoddy electrical work with a high use of multiway adapters all over the cottage . The small wardrobes were dusty and had lots of old blankets and bedding in them , we didn’t use the musty draws or wardrobes but left all our clothes in the suitcase .The bath is stained and the shower screen dirty , we couldn’t bath but the shower was ok . The kitchen had lots and lots of mismatched crockery , utensils and cooking pots but the electric cooker is plugged into a 3 way adapter so we didn’t use it at we thought if unsafe . The garden was a bonus but needed work with overgrown around all windows and the door encouraging bugs and mosquitos into the cottage and the lawn needed mowing , the garden furniture is uncomfortable so unable to make good use of this .

− Bathroom was a good size but only accessed via the main bedroom. Landing half step was a bit dangerous at the top of the stairs.

− Fine for us, but the bathroom is at the back of the property, and has to be accessed by walking through the double bedroom. Maybe an issue for some other people.
The only thing missing was the sunshine!!!
8.0Most excellent location. Pretty little cottage set in its own time. Lovely garden parking on site a definate bonus just so central for everything
− The dining room table and chairs really matched the overall theme but there’s quite a lots of legs and spars to work round under the table
