5.0Nette Gastgeber das nötigste war vorhanden.
− Es stand keine Bettwäsche vorhanden dabei war nichtmal ein Bettdecke vorhanden. Bei diesem Preis sollte das selbstverständlich sein.
Make sure you are prepared! Bring your own towels, sheets, and pillows. Drive a 4x4, and pack food.
5.0We stayed in the 4-person cottage closest to the beach. The price was very affordable. The cottage had a great view of the surrounding fjords and remained at a comfortable temperature throughout our stay. The host met us on arrival to show us around, and we were able to explore the surrounding property and the beach. The cottage was free from clutter and dirt when we arrived. The hot water did not smell of sulfur, unlike our lodging in Reykjavik. We appreciated that some teabags were provided along with utensils and cookware in the kitchenette. Checking out was as simple as leaving the keys in the door. I would stay here again had we been better prepared--see below.
− We could've prepared better for our stay--the property was a considerable distance from the nearest options for food and gas. Sideways rain, dense fog, and gusty winds paired with slippery gravel, numerous potholes, and cliffs without guardrails made the journey challenging. We had to double back to Patreksfjörður (40+ minutes away) to patch our tire after running over a nail, and ended up skipping nearby attractions (Rauðasandur--lacking the recommended 4WD, Látrabjarg) due to the poor road conditions and doubts about our fuel levels. Unable to find groceries in Patreksfjörður, we settled for an early dinner after fixing the tire and elected to skip breakfast the following morning to continue our trip without doubling back a second time. The host informed us when we booked that towels, sheets, and pillows would be an additional 3200 ISK per person on arrival--this was also outlined in the description online, so most of us brought our own. The futons (stacked pairs of mattresses) and sofa bed (just a couch, not a pull-out) were narrowly suitable for our handful of 20-some-year-olds for one night. Some flies had gathered around the windows inside, which we were able to remove with minimal frustration. The curtains did not block all of the midnight sun, so I was glad to have packed an eye mask. Be judicious with this booking and do not expect a luxury experience.

8.0− Prix des draps aberrant, en sachant que tout le monde est forcé de devoir payer ces frais supplémentaires dans la mesure où personne ne se balade avec une literie complète en allant en Islande
