Clean and quirky property.

Very clean compact property. Quirky decoration. Host left Welsh cakes, milk, eggs, bubbly and welcome card which was a nice touch. Great communication from host prior to the visit on things to do in the area. Although the area itself is run down it is very central with lots of tourist attractions. We used it as a central base for attending the Royal Welsh Show and Barry Island and visited many attractions in between eg Bit Pit, local food festival.

− The outside area is very steep, which may not be suitable for everyone. You walk out the back door and straight on to steps. There are 15 steps to the hot tub and a further 5 steps to the picnic table. (No room around either) We stayed during lovely weather so to use the seating area to eat outside all have to be carried up and down stone steps. We stayed a week and were only provided with one tea towel, also no outside bins, which wasn’t great especially when it came to the food waste bin. We did ask the host (no response) as there is a notice about helping recycle and we were trying our best to keep everything segregated. Parking is an ordeal - The property is located on a step narrow street where everyone parks either side - most reverse up the street as it’s a dead end. Hard to get parked outside the property.

The hosts were incredible, friendly, accommodating and left some nice touches for our arrival. The property was decorated festive for Christmas, warm cosy and clean. They were great at providing local food recommendations, activities and walks. Couldn't have asked for more.

− The only limiting factor is on street parking. We actually had no problems being close to the property, but a point to consider if coming in a larger vehicle. Otherwise great location close to lots of things

Perfect cosy getaway near the Welsh outdoors!

We loved everything about or week away here. Angela was an amazing host, from before we even arrived she had recommended loads of great things to do and places to see which made planning our week away super easy. The house was very clean and cosy and had everything we needed. The hot tub was ready to use and the balcony was a great setting for it with the fairy lights. The bed was also very comfortable and made the stay 10/10. Street parking meant it was hit or miss if we had a space outside of the house but otherwise we couldn't fault it!
