8.0Clean sheets, good air conditioning (quiet and efficient). Wall socket with 3 connectors between the bed is good! Water dispenser available in the lobby. A light switch and a small table between the twin beds would be good to put cellphones for charging. Location close to bus terminal is excellent for late arrival/departure. Easy to reach with Balikpapan City Trans during its operating hours. Foodstalls in walking distance.
− Shower head in room 21 bears mould and schould be replaced. Room was clean, but bathroom and cupboard were not. TV not working. No cup or glass in the room but I could request one.

Simple good place
7.0Budget friendly place near the bus station with shops an eateries around. Public places were clean. Hot and cold drinking water was provided
− The bathroom was neglected and no hot water and towel provided. They could install a small shower water heater in each bathroom.
Good value and convenient location
7.0Convenient- a few minutes walk to Batu Ampar bus terminal, very clean (including under the beds), friendly staff, good value. The air-conditioning, while not strong, was enough to reduce the heat and humidity. I liked the aluminium clothes hanging device, which allowed my wet clothes to get mostly dry. There is a shower, and even though it is only cold water, it is not too cold. Lots of food stalls.
− The end rooms (like the one I was in) are noisy from traffic and music in the street, but it is quieter from about 12 midnight to 5a.m.
