Nice spot to stay but needs upgrading.
5.0The location is excellent for the lower to mid East side of NYC. The staff was kind and genial the whole month we were there and the weekly maid service was helpful.
− The property is old and many things don’t work. The internet was a nightmare the first few weeks then they gave us an extender for the apt but that also worked intermittently. The dishwasher was broken, the plates unmatched and not enough, the silverware also mismatched and not enough and there are no knives for cutting anything , three pots and no kitchen amenities like towels or detergents. It is not set up for extended stays as it should be. The furniture was threadbare and the televisions are ancient and no longer represent todays’s clients are they are not smartvs…basic cable and the living room set up doesn’t account for tv and sofa viewing. Super uncomfortable couch and no other seating beyond a round dining table.
I never expected to experience such a restful stay for six weeks
10.0The whole staff very professional and most welcoming
− All was perfection
Very nice staff, excellent value for the price, very good location, pretty big room
9.0
We were well treated by everyone on staff, best location for the price in Manhattan.
7.0Perfect location. Accommodating front of house staff and housecleaning staff. Price was not too bad for the time of year and the location, we like it enough we would like to come to stay there again in a few months' time. Great to have a laundry facility in the building with clean machines. The air conditioning worked well.
− The kitchen wasn't wonderful but it was adequate. There were few cooking utensils and the kitchen cupboards were bare wood, fairly damaged, but we had most of what we needed.
Guest review
9.0I had a very pleasant stay at Murray Hill East Suites. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist. The room is a little bit outdated, but it was very comfortable and spacious, so this was not an issue for me at all. I especially appreciated having access to a well-equipped kitchen and a private balcony. The weekly cleaning was also very convenient and sufficient for my stay. The location is absolutely perfect - very convenient for exploring New York and getting around the city.
