6.0Staff were friendly & helpful. There was no lift so I had to manage the stairs on crutches. The whole interior is looking very tired and dated. There was no resident bar facility or mini bar in the room.

8.0The property is older, but it was maintained well and very clean. The restaurant was the absolute best we ate at during our trip to Scotland.

2.0My room had spiders in it and there was a very strong bleach smell. I mentioned it to the staff came downstairs and they told me if you want to change rooms you have to pay an extra £40. They came upstairs to clean everything but the smell was still there. They offered me free dinner because they didn’t want to change my room cause they will keep on saying that the hotel is fully booked, but when I went on the online again, it’s still available and then suddenly they showed me a room which is available because it was a double room not a single room they tried to tell me I have to pay an extra £40 if I want to get that room and I told them that I can’t sleep in that smell it was middle of the night. I had no choice but to sleep in that smell and in the back condition, plus it was third floor and had no lift.
