Tudo foi ótimo, a equipe foi muito atenciosa e prestativa, a hospedagem fica dentro de uma reserva privada e ao chegar voce já vai encontrar alguns aminais como girafas, hipopotamos, zebras, gnus, macacos e outros. O café da manhã e o jantar são muito bons. Se for de carro, é interessante, mas não obrigatório, ir de carro um pouco mais alto devido ao acesso por estrada de terra, que é bem conservada.

Pleasant stay but not in big5 reserve

We had a pleassant stay at Phelwana. The staff were so friendly and helpfull, which made us feel welcome already before we arrived. The food was excellent and the bushwalk a highlight - very interesting and focussed on tracking and identifying animal spoor. The villa itself had a lovely atmosphere.

− Also the villa was noticeably outdated and in need of some maintenance. One important point for future guests: it was not clear for us beforehand that Phelwana is not located in a big 5 reserve. For game drive we had to visit another reserve (40 minutes drive) and was not included in the price. Because of this the overall price-quality ratio was lower than we expected.

L'accueil très chaleureux et le chef "JOY" a été génial, nous avons eu un repas absolument délicieux et magnifique...! Il a un talent incroyable. Une grande chambre double très confortable et agréable. Et une vrai piscine privée. Top..!!! Bravo à la charmante personne qui nous a accueilli et donner les informations pour le détour afin de rejoindre la porte "Orpen" du parc krugger. Bravo au chef Joy . Le lodge a de la chance d'avoir un chef si talentueux. Merci à toute l'équipe...! Danielle & Luc

Wahnsinn!!! Wir wollten nicht weg!

Alles! Wir wollten gar nicht abreisen! Die Anlage mit all den Tieren ist der Wahnsinn, wir sind überhaupt nicht mehr in den Kruger gefahren, weil wir dort so viele verschiedene Tiere sehen konnten! Die kostenlosen Game Drives mit Picnic am Abend, bei denen man nicht mit 5 anderen Autos bei einem Tier steht, sondern komplett alleine, weil es eine private Anlage ist. Die Bush Walks am Morgen und all die Sachen, die man dabei gelernt hat, Wahnsinn! Vor allem Titus und Katie haben uns mit Leidenschaft und Freude alles gezeigt. Das Essen war sensationell!!! Das Beste, was wir auf unserer Reise hatten und wir haben NIE schlecht gegessen. Das Barbecue war der Wahnsinn, was da angeboten wurde und der Ort ums Feuer herum, so schön! Das a la carte Essen genauso, wie die Teller dekoriert waren, Hammer! Und die Unterkünfte selbst (wir hatten das Zelt) war meine liebste von vielen Reisen.

Without a doubt, it was the best destination for our honeymoon. We have nothing but praise for the entire staff, who took such good care of us—especially our guide (Titus), who was so nice and kind to us throughout our stay, and the ladies who prepared our meals and the evening barbecue just for us. We also had full support in arranging a guide who picked us up at the hotel entrance and took us on a safari inside Kruger. The Lodge handled everything for us. The hotel is fantastic; our tent was impeccable, the furniture is beautiful, everything was clean and tidy, and we were treated to various little treats and surprises throughout our stay, including dinner on the tent’s veranda, which was really nice. We saw all the animals in the reserve several times, and it was an indescribable experience for us. We will definitely return as soon as possible.
