Stunning hotel, fantastic Staff.
10.0This hotel is beautiful! It is in one of the most identifiable buildings in Ilkley, right in the town centre. The staff are wonderful and the food (Bistrot Pierre) is fabulous. Our room was stunning and spacious with a beautiful bathroom and walk in shower, we even had a Dyson fan as the weather was very warm (and why would you want to ruin the beautiful facade of the building by installing air-con units!!
− It's not really a criticism, but you need to be aware that there is no parking at the hotel, although there is parking elsewhere in the town centre - which is normally Pay & Display.
Loved it- would definitely return!
9.0Rooms, staff, food and hotel were all really good. No traffic noise even though our rooms faced a main road. Really comfortable beds. Great location to all the lovely shops.
Fine as long as you’re not expecting any sleep.
1.0Pleasant room and friendly staff.
− The noise from the Irish bar next door. The revellers continued until at least 3am. Shouts, laughter and motorbikes revving their engines. The waitress told us there had been complaints from other customers on previous occasions. Her advice was that we should have joined them. I realise that this is not a fault of the hotel, but a complaint could and should have been made to the local council. After a long journey from Wiltshire, we were hoping for a good rest in a nice hotel. This left us exhausted..What should have been a pleasant experience was ruined.
Great location and lovely decor.
8.0The location and decor were great. The rooms were lovely as were the communal areas. Bedding was very good quality.
− I thought breakfast could be better. I would have been able to help myself to fruit and yoghurt but most things on the menu were cooked. Also I know this couldn't really be helped but the rooms are very hot. It would have been better to be able to open the windows fully too get a breeze.

9.0From check in to check out our stay was perfect. We have stayed in Ilkley a few times but never here so thought we would try it. Room was lovely (Grassington) cookies for us and water (received on the second day) huge shower and all very clean. It was so hot that weekend so the room was very hot, a fan was provided which helped a little. We ate in the restaurant on our second evening which was very good and through to the bar for the England match later, breakfast was also very good, lots of choice and brought to the table.
− Just the heat of the room which i know isnt their fault.
