Less than expected
4.0The property is extremely beautiful, I was in the caretakers cabin. We took the day tour, which was very disappointing, you only see three rooms on the main floor and you’re not allowed upstairs. The ghost tour is practically the same as the day tour except they talk about ghost. If you’re going for peace and quiet, this is the place to be .employees are extremely nice.
Haunted Legends and Heartfelt Hospitality
10.0We stayed at The Myrtles Plantation hoping to get tucked in by a few friendly spirits, but nothing spooky made an appearance. Even without the paranormal excitement, the stay was wonderful. The staff was absolutely amazing, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. We enjoyed it so much that we definitely plan on returning in the near future.
UH - AMAZINGGGGGGG
10.0From start to finish, this was so fun. We originally signed up for a nighttime ghost tour, and the decided to add a dinner reservation beforehand. The grounds are STUNNING. We arrived around golden hour. The food was AMAZING. Shout out to the pork belly lettuce wraps and the beet salad. And the tour. SO GOOD. We had such a good time. Our tour guide, Rainee Day (sp? So sorry) was so sweet and so knowledgeable. We even did a little ghost hunting after and I think we spoke to the little 3yr old girl, Kate, who got sick and died in the 19th century! 11/10 highly recommend. We want to return and spend the night!
A worthwhile visit
10.0Lovely plantation home with an excellent tour guide who had keen insights to the history of this home. Gorgeous grounds and a lovely coffee shop. Great staff and a wonderful overview of life on a plantation.
History was very interesting
8.0The guide was ok , but the history of the mansion was very interesting! If we visit again someday we will definitely take the night tour and spend the night!
