10.0This is perhaps my most favorite hotel stay ever! We stayed for 2 separate weekends, bookending our trip over to one of the islands. Shila Athens is just gorgeous— every detail so thoughtful and inviting. We were in the Artist Atelier for 2 nights for the first weekend, and in the Garden Retreat for 3 nights for the second weekend. Both are lovely and I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite. The staff is amazing. Quietly in the background yet so helpful, friendly, professional and welcoming. This will be our go-to spot in Athens. The location is perfect, close to the shops and cafes of Kolonaki and Syntagma Square, and well as a short walk over to lively Exarchia and the great Saturday market. We loved having breakfast in our room, and enjoyed evenings on the beautiful roof terrace. Everything was perfect!
At Shila on the first two days of our visit to Athens, the experience was warm and welcoming!
