Enjoyed the town

Its location and the large grass area to the rear

Not a teabag or coffee in sight. 1 toilet roll for 4 guests on arrival. Very late check in time 6 pm really

Great location in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds

9.0

It was right in Burton on the water soaking distance to everything. Only a short drive to all other villages

The shower was a hand held shower over a bath. The stairs were ok for us but for someone elderly it could have been tricky .

Lovely cottage and location. Terrible communication from the company.

8.0

Great location. Nice little cottage. Other comments disliking the church bells clearly have not stayed in old English villages, I wouldn’t say it was excessive personally.

Communication is terrible. They send an excessive amount of lengthy bot style messages. Hard to actually get the info you need from it. Emailed asking if I could check in slightly earlier an got nothing back. Also the address on booking.com is wrong so not easy to find. The actual location is coordinates: 51.8859656, -1.7594480 next to ‘Taylor and fletcher’ estate agents.

Absolutely basic cottage with little to no comfort

4.0

Location was excellent. Beds were comfortable and towels were a nice quality.

The house was extremely miniature. Having no shower was quite unbelievable. The stairs was a serious hazard with it being almost impossible to come down it without banging your head. There was no comfort in the living room. Decor in general is very bland and really dated. It certainly is not a property to recommend for 4 people. 2 rolls of toilet paper was inadequate. There wasn’t even room in one of the bedrooms for the suitcases after the struggle of trying to get them up the narrow , winding staircase. Will not be back.

Fabulous cottage in centre of Bourton on the water.

10.0

Perfect location in the centre of Bourton. Quirky cottage, super clean and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen. Tv, central heating. Really loved this cottage and would book again.

Nothing at all. The only issue could be parking, we had two cars and managed to park one small car fully in the car port and other right up next to it, entrance to parking is very tight. Small car no issue but bigger cars need skill. It was also quiet and the other three cottages that could park were empty. So we had no complaints about two cars there. Parking in Bourton is expensive and outside the cottage is 2 hrs only free. The other issue could be the stairs. They’re very steep and winding. My friend and I were fine but elderly or young kids may struggle.
