World class hotel in all ways except for the ridiculous $60 plus tip overnight parking charge. For that price, they ought to wash and vacuum the car.

Good breakfast, rooms are not worth the price

Hotel's condition is failing, especially considering the hotel was built only 6 years ago. Bedsheets and curtains in the room had stains, we found hairs in the bathroom and in drinking water glasses, and the furniture was shredded on the sides. Hotel breakfast was great (if included).

This is a great place for a family to stay to explor Bar Harbor and Acadia NP.

It was very convenient for the purpose of our trip. The leader bank pavilion concert venue is directly opposite the hotel

− No safe in the room. Other than that it was very good indeed

A Lovely Place to Stay, just a 30-Minute Walk from Boston's Lively Downtown

The location of the hotel was great! We had a fantastic view to the airport with the starting and landing airplanes and to parts of the harbor from our south facing room window. Thanks to the soundproof windows, we could barely hear the street or any noises from outside. The beds were comfortable, the room was spacious, and the bathroom and everything else were clean and tidy. We felt very comfortable there. The breakfast was served as buffet with plenty of variety, there was something for everyone's taste and eating habits. The staff was kind and helpful. The view from the rooftop terrace was great - you could see the harbor, the airport and downdown's high-rise buildings. Downtown was only a 30-minute walk away.

− Well, the airconditioning. It was much too cold inside throughout the wole faciliy, especially in the breakfast area opposite to the reception. We were glad to take our breakfast outside on the patio next to the breakfast area where it was significantly warmer, even in the early morning! The cold inside led to a down grade of the overall rating, but only one grade thanks to the breakfast patio. I do not feel comfortable in rooms that are too cold - and especially in those where the air is heavily ventilated, as if I were in a cold storage room - which makes being in such rooms even more unpleasant. Sorry, but I can't understand it. A couple of degres more would also have a cooling effect inside but would feel much more comfortable and it would not be such a useless waste of energy. We kept the temperature in our room at about 75 degrees Fahrenheit, which was very comfortable given that it was around 90 degrees outside.
