1.0− I rarely write negative reviews, but I feel compelled to warn other travelers. This hotel is a classic example of “a pig with lipstick on.” While it has been remodeled, it still feels like an old motel underneath, and despite the renovations, they simply haven’t been able to shake that motel atmosphere. The appearance has been updated, but the overall experience certainly hasn’t. The photos on the hotel’s website do not accurately represent the experience or the feeling of staying here. They create the impression of a luxurious boutique property, but the reality is quite different. We paid an average of over $1,300 per night for the most basic, small room with a tiny bathroom, a rate that included approximately $350 per night in resort fees and taxes. At that price point, we expected an exceptional experience. Instead, we felt the hotel delivered very poor value for the money. One front desk associate was genuinely kind, welcoming, and did her best to help. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of our stay. The manager was dismissive, surprisingly rude, and showed very poor judgment when it came to resolving concerns. Rather than listening and finding solutions, we felt brushed aside. The rooms have extremely thin walls. We could clearly hear normal conversations from neighboring rooms, even though no one was being unusually loud. It made it very difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep. Basic housekeeping was also disappointing. Soap dispensers were left empty and were not refilled, which reflects a lack of attention to even the simplest guest comforts. Luxury hospitality is about more than attractive marketing—it is about service, comfort, attention to detail, and making guests feel valued. Sadly, this property fell short on all of those fronts. There are far better options in the area that offer a much better experience for the price. I would not stay here again, and I cannot recommend it.
Lovely stay but way over priced for services
8.0Lovely design and decoration of period buildings and port cabins. I liked the cafe area and bar and the mattresses were very comfortable.
− The amenities were very basic and the hotel charges were exuberant. Did not match the price.
Very relaxing!
9.0Very Nice.

10.0Parking was free and really easy. Great proximity to the main street of town—you can easily walk, but it's not too close where it gets loud at night. The front staff and cleaning team were all lovely and super helpful. We loved the coffee bar in the mornings.
