2.0Do not book this hotel!!!! I have travelled to a lot of places and this is not good. Why? The online check in is absolutely terrible. They do not clean rooms or even fresh towels. If you return after midnight you have to have a code to get in and that after an hour checking in was not given to us. If you go no reception and online only then be online!!! There are better options in Maro.

8.0We spent a week at the PlayaMaro Hotel and absolutely loved it! The hotel has a rustic charm , a little old-fashioned, but full of character. The staff were wonderful, so friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect, safe, and right in the beautiful village of Maro. Food was tasty, and the atmosphere felt authentically Spanish. A great choice if you’re looking for genuine hospitality and a true taste of Spain.

8.0Ha destacar la atención de todo el personal, un trato excepcional. La habitación confortable y cómoda. A tener en cuenta que los desayunos podrían tener algo más de variedad, porque es escaso la verdad. Y de nuevo repetir desde el personal de limpieza, mantenimiento y camareros un trato increíble.

8.0No había recepción presencial, por lo que nos enviaron toda la información por mail y whatsApp. No venía la información del horario del desayuno, lo que sería importante a añadir. Por lo demás bien. Ha sido un sitio agradable.
Ok for the price but needs some attention
6.0We didn't expect much for the price and were pleased with the size of room and ammenities. Nice little kitchen. Toilet and shower ok. Good air conditioning but not in bedroom. We brought a fan with us. Convenient for beach and taxis available to Nerja for less than 10 euros. However, we had no fresh towels all week. No clothes horse to dry clothes. Pool is grotty with clumps of hair from drain. Bar below is awful for evening meals. Parking is difficult too. We did enjoy our stay. Just accept basic conditions.
