the housekeeping staff entered my room while i was still inside. i had just gotten out of the shower and was fully naked. they did not knock or say anything before entering my room. i have been vacationing to the outer banks my entire life and have never had anything like this happen. i will not be booking a stay here again. to say i am embarrassed would be a gross understatement. thank you.

Loved the location. The room was very nice.

− The outdoor pool should be open during the summer. The AC dripped from the room above. Dripping water was constantly splashing on me sitting on the balcony.

We have been coming to the Blue Heron for years. They have been constantly improving the place. We usually go off season, so this year we decided to go in July.

− The pool was closed!!! In mid JULY! Maybe a different lift so the elderly can get luggage up to second floor. We always get a third floor so it wasn't a problem, but I felt bad for people that struggled.

Rooms were spacious and clean.

− Not really anything. All was good. Oh one thing I dont know how you would fix this the air conditioner run off from the upper decks drip down and when windy cam be a tad annoying cause blows on you. But need the A/c so not really sure how to prevent that.
