Pleasant Boutique Hotel
6.0The location is good, easy access to the beach via boat or a short walk, on the riverside with easy access to boat trips into the Mangroves. The riverside cafe is very nice, has a good menu and is reasonably priced. We upgraded to the Honeymoon suite which was well worth it. The hotel is very clean and has a nice lounge area that all the bedrooms are situated off and is finished to a good standard.
− Breakfast was not great, staff are lovely but not very attentive, service was slow and the selection of food on offer was minimal, we had to ask for tea/coffee. Evening meals were better with a good selection on the menu and the chef was happy to amend any meals if you wanted something changing. Water pressure is low in the shower and bath and it also took a really long time before it warmed up. The hotel is only 4 floors high, the bedrooms and lounge are on the 3rd floor with the restaurant on the 4th, floors 1 and 2 still need to be finished off but will make a beautiful shopping area when they have been.
One night stay to recover from our flight, nice food and breakfast, close to a pretty beach.
