Amazing location with immaculate rooms and really friendly staff. The extra touches like binoculars and thick blankets were amazing as you will sit outside to just watch the wildlife go by early in the morning. The restaurant was top class with amazing food. All in the complete package.

This family owned Inn is top notch for customer service and the attention for detail in their rooms is second to none in Morro Bay. We have already booked our stay for 2027.

32nd anniversary trip

We wanted to stay two nights in honor of our 32nd anniversary, the captain suite is what we wanted to book. Because we booked last minute, that suite was only available for one night , and only bc someone had cancled , so we got lucky . Connor helped us with the booking , he was so sweet and very accommodating, he even helped make a dinner reservation for us at “The Galley”which is right below the INN. This was our first visit to Morro Bay, and we absolutely loved everything about it , the room exceeded our expectations, loved the fireplace , the vaulted ceiling, coffee machine, the mugs and wine glasses , everything was carefully thought through, just superb in every way .Frankie at the front desk was so adorable , we loved her .There is only a few negatives about our stay. The truck that arrived at very early morning hours (I think around 5am ) unloading stuff below was not ideal , the pillows were very uncomfortable for me , just not soft enough , and the seals woke me up multiple times during the night (The INN does provide Earplugs ) but still didn’t help .The view from our room absolutely stunning , sunset was unreal , and we thank you for our lovely champagne and chocolates for our anniversary. We will be back .

The Anderson Inn is truly a special place! We stayed at several hotels during our Southern California anniversary trip, and this was, without question, our favorite. Before we even arrived, we received a call letting us know our room was ready and that we could check in early at no extra charge. It was such a thoughtful gesture and set the tone for an amazing stay. Our room was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail had been carefully considered. We especially loved the two private decks, and the deck with the fireplace was the perfect place to relax in the evening. The plush robes, Nespresso coffee maker, and other thoughtful touches made the room feel luxurious without being over the top. The location is outstanding, with breathtaking ocean views. Watching the sunset from our deck was one of the highlights of our entire trip. It was peaceful, quiet, and exactly what we were hoping for to celebrate our anniversary. The staff made our stay even more memorable. Moira welcomed us with a warm smile and shared wonderful recommendations for the local area. She made us feel genuinely appreciated as guests. It's rare to find a place where everything comes together so perfectly—the location, the accommodations, the service, and the little details that make a stay unforgettable. We honestly didn't want to leave. Thank you to everyone at the Anderson Inn for making our anniversary so special. We can't wait to return!

Fabulous hotel , every little detail is thought of. We had the Captains room which was stunning. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgable. Perfectly situated and great value. We ate at the Galley restaurant attached to the Inn and the meals were superb.

Beautiful Inn and location in Morro Bay

Perfect spot for our first night of a 2 week California sightseeing and wine tasting trip. Connor touched base to let us know our room was ready for us earlier in the day. Upon arrival he also made dinner reservations on our behalf at the Galley Seafood Grill. The rooms are amazing, views from the balcony were fabulous. I enjoyed drinking coffee wrapped in a super soft robe in the morning and enjoying the sunset in the evening. Great location too! What a warm and friendly community!
