horrible service. not clean stains on sheets walls counters etc door wouldn’t lock first night couldn’t get in contact w

− there was no after hours number , door wouldn’t lock first night so had to barricade the door with the couch in case. didn’t get contacted until after 9am the next morning. the utensils were dirty and not cleaned. there were also random stains that had not been cleaned up on counters , bedsheets , walls etc tried to asked the receptionist for help but didn’t get told they weren’t connected to the actual hotel until we had arrived. did ask if they could help said they’d call back they hung up on me and never did. hadn’t been notified that i would have to make a $500 deposit until i had purchased the non refundable hotel room. had been told also that we had access to the pool and that it was on the first floor tried to get on to the floor wasn’t able to get on to any one except for our floor and the ground. have a photo of us having to barricade the door but can only submit these ones have one photo of the stains on counter aswell (not on here) couldn’t get a photo of any of the other things since they wouldn’t show clearly in pictures.
DOOR WILL NOT LOCK

− I stayed at this property back in May and have been trying to resolve the issue with the property/booking.com since then. The property is being unresponsive to myself and booking.com so I've decided to post this review to warn others. The front door does not lock and as you can imagine this is really unsafe. My friend and I only noticed when we were on our 2nd night and we were already scheduled for check out the next day. In the evening as we were heading out for plans with our other friends we noticed our door wasn't locking at all. We had to cancel plans as we didn't want to leave our items unattended. We tried contacting the property directly but no answer. We were uncomfortable and we couldn't sleep. I looked at other reviews agreeing there are issues with the lock. I've been trying to resolve this issue with booking.com (providing videos etc) but they are saying the property is not responding to them on this issue. I was told there was a refund initiated on the 19/6/26 however I still have not received it. They are still taking steps to escalate my issue. I'm concerned as we also had to pay a $500 safety deposit on arrival directly to the property and have expressed these concerns to booking.com as I also expect to have that returned. I wouldn't recommend staying with this property or their other locations.

Please note that late check-in carries the following extra charges: - From 18:00 to 22:00: AUD 50 - After 22:00: AUD 100 and no check in is allowed after 12 midnight, late check in has to be confirmed with our office no later than 2pm on arrival date or access may not be granted.
Housekeeping service can be requested at extra charge for staying more than 7 nights.
A damage deposit of AUD 1000 is required on arrival only for Two-Bedroom Apartments and AUD 500 for 1 bedroom apartments. This will be collected by credit card. The pre-authorization is usually released in 7-10 days by your card issuer, subject to an inspection of the property.
