Disappointing, but great views

Unbelievable views over the lake. It was a fairly nice walk into the town. The balcony and garden area were both nice.

− Nothing worked properly, the bedrooms were much much smaller than the photos suggested, the directions and instructions for arrival were unhelpful.

The apartment is modern with a nice kitchen. The balcony is superb with a nice side garden, the view is out of this world and was the main positive of the stay. The town was cute and quiet with some nice restaurants, the local shops were sufficient but would recommend a big shop if you don't have a car before arrival.

− Me and my partner were travelling Italy for 4 weeks and this was the place that we "splashed out" on although we were left disappointed in the end. When paying £350 a night you would expect luxury. The finer details weren't there and the place was kitted out with cheap IKEA stuff, the beds were ok with two of the wooden legs falling off in the guest room during the night. Things like no coffee for the coffee machines, no hand towels, no pool towels, the pool was dated and a bit dirty with the floor coming up, the pool has no shade or beds either. There was no air-conditioning at all which astonished me, despite there being a label on the heating system saying "AC/heating" none of our party slept at all well with it being near 40 degrees celcius inside. I contacted the company via booking.com and was told I would be rang that day and it would the air-con would be fixed, of course I wasn't rang and later told that there was no zircon at all and the label was a mistake. You are sent a 7 page PDF document before arrival and made to log into a "portal", there was a lot of information and the key situation was confusing. Again considering this was ran by a company and with the expense you would have expected to have been met by a human and made sure you were comfortable in the accommodation. Also on the document guests are informed serveral times that they would be fined if the bins weren't taken out properly, the bedlinen and towels were put together and the shutters weren't closed the full way down. The company seemed to not really care about their guest with multiple people replying on the booking.com app, little to no personal touches and lack of customer care. Honestly, stay in Como or a hotel on the lake, this place is overpriced for what it is and you can see the exact same view from the beach in the town. Get a 2* hotel that has aircon, get a good sleep and explore the lake during the day!
