Great hotel , Good food , and Pet Friendly , Fantastic one night stay
9.0Very nice pet friendly hotel with free parking to the rear of the property .. Staff were very welcoming and the room was bigger than expected with a well stocked mini bar Really nice place to stay if your exploring near by , only 20mins to Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens which is well worth a visit. Breakfast and evening meals were very good with a nice bar area and garden to relax
− Not much to see in the Town of Dorchester and like a lot of small Towns the high street seems to be struggling ( in my opinion ) but the hotel was really nice , Service was a little slow but to be fair there looked to be only 2 people rushing around doing the bar and reception so maybe they were short staffed on that day .
Truly good food in a relaxed environment
10.0I should have written this 3 weeks ago when my husband and I decided to have an inpromptu Sunday roast and ended up in Dorchester. The place we found was the Kings Arms. We were so impressed, I can't tell you. Lovely staff. Superb food. Really good quality locally sourced produce. They even have their own curing cabinet for specialist meats and were kind enough to give us a sample - outstanding. We'll be going back and i look forward to taking my mum and friends their. It's really great. Wouldn't know where you could go to beat their roast...superb!

10.0Beautifully presented central hotel. Staff helpful and welcoming. Great place to explore Dorchester and surrounds. Would recommend Abbotsbury subtropical gardens and village. Beautiful coastline and countryside.
