SHANGRI-LA in the Berkshires!!!!!!
10.0Just returned from a weekend with my family at the Avaloch. Even with construction happening, which you couldn't even notice, it was so quiet. My wife and I really enjoyed sitting outside at night under the moon drinking wine in complete peace! My kids enjoyed the heated pool and playing with the German Shepherd on site "Max". We played frisbee and volleyball on the spawling grounds as well. Mary and Christian the desk workers were so helpful and kind. My family and I didn't even mind the lack of a TV in our room. We actually enjoyed ourselves even more. Not to worry, there is a TV in the Main lobby. Can't say enough good things about Avaloch. I will not tell you the room number I had because I want it to be open when we return. Thank You AVALOCH!!!!! P.S.: Also love the new branding (font) for Avaloch. P.S. 2: There is always coffee prepared and ready to drink, at all hours.... Love it!!!!

7.0breakfast good simple continental. the lounge was great but the motel where most rooms are though clean was very dated. if staff had not shown us how to use fan or air conditioner would have been a problem. coffee maker should have directions.
