10.0This was a cute property, it’s older but clean and well maintained. The front desk staff were very friendly and very helpful. It has private homes, scattered around the property, which is a little different. There’s 1 parking space per cottage. It’s a nice little quiet area in the middle of the bustle of Gatlinburg. We had a porch that overlooked a creek and it was all wooded and shaded. There are free roam chickens and roosters. You do get woken up by the roosters so keep that in mind. We were not use the pool or hot tub but they have that available. there’s a small kids playground. It’s just before the crowds of Gatlinburg, but plenty of restaurants to walk to. Including a Thai restaurant, which is right next-door. We had a 2 bedroom cottage. It was the upper level of a building. One of the beds was in a separate bedroom. The other was in the main room w/ a tiny kitchenette. They actually had really great window coverings, they were pulled down shades with realistic photos of bears and trees, etc. Made it nice and dark for sleeping. The area felt very safe there are about, according to the front desk staff, seven bears local to the area. We saw two of them in the parking lot. They did hang out in the tree a little bit near the parking lot. We would absolutely stay there again if we went back to Gatlinburg. It would be great for more than a couple day stay
