8.0Lochview Lodges offered a wonderful stay with its well-appointed lodges and breathtaking views of the loch and surrounding countryside. The peaceful setting, complete with friendly goat, cow, and sheep neighbours, was truly relaxing. While the lodge itself was beautifully constructed and equipped, I was a bit disappointed to find the oven and washing machine needed cleaning before use. Additionally, I was surprised to discover that toilet paper wasn't provided, even for a self-catering accommodation. This was an inconvenience, it's worth noting for future guests.

2.0The hosts were horrible. At the second day of our stay the lodge ran out of gas, heating and hot water and we have 2 little children. We couldn’t cook anything after 6pm. When I had called the host named Elizabeth she didn’t pick at all. I messaged her about the issue as well and no reply. Then I had found her husbands number he too didn’t pick up and called back after a while. They said they were in a ‘concert’ whilst their lodge was out of gas. When he came to the lodge to try and fix the issue he couldn’t and said sorry I can’t do anything about it. We got the gas back at the next day 7 am in the morning, 3 hours before checkout.

10.0Lovely hot tub lodge. Property had everything you would need in a self catering property. Best hot tub lodge we have ever booked.
