9.0the hotel is very clean and in a great location. The staff is friendly, efficient and helpful. I cannot remember all the names, but they are terrific. The General Manager Theresa Frye leads by example and gets things done. Thank you for your kind service.

8.0We stayed the night as we were passing through on our way to Charleston South Carolina. Upon arriving, the front desk staff were very kind and professional. However the room we were given on the fourth floor smelled very musty and the air conditioning wasn't working. I went downstairs and the lady at the desk was very kind and quick to shift our room which was in better condition with a working AC and no smell. Overall observations. The hotel lobby was immaculate. Very clean, professional and lots of seating. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The elevators seem really old and rickety. The beds were comfortable and the room well maintained and clean. However, there were a few really dark mildew spots in the shower that were very obvious (this is a very simple attention to detail for the cleaning staff), and the shower didn't put out much water as when you switched it on the majority of the water kept flowing out of the lower tub faucet. Breakfast was fantastic. A ton of options, very well presented and the space very clean. In all, it's a good hotel... I would stay again hopeful that the issues I ran into were not symptomatic of a team that isn't paying attention to details where it will only get worse.
