Highly recommended for a quiet stay in the countryside

The house is well located, keys accessible. Easy reach of the airport but in a serenely quiet location, but also convenient for access roads to the coast, food shops and mountains. The lush garden is magnificent with views of the olive groves and vineyards. Host and manager helpful and easy to contact and a nice touch was the breakfast snacks and drinks provided on arrival. Lots of space indoors and outdoors, well equipped throughout and with a solid WiFi connection

− The country house is admittedly ageing, but past reviews are not necessarily helpful on this. The décor of the property will not appeal to everyone, but I loved its retro nostalgic look and feel

Maison superbe. Hôte très aimable. Pour répondre à certaines critiques qui on été fait. Le wifi marche parfaitement . Les photos représente parfaitement la maison bien sûr il y a des imperfections mais nous y étions que pour dormir donc pas dérangeant. Très calme. En ce qui concerne les fenêtres elles ne sont pas cloués mais tout simplement une sécurité, il faut juste soulever le bâton métallique et la fenêtre s’ouvre. En ce qui concerne la clim le bruit est normal . En ce qui concerne le lit simple mon fils a très bien dormi. Merci Andreas pour l’adresse du resto chez Constantine très bon et si peux chère. Je vous remercie pour votre accueil et votre gentillesse.

Très grande maison, spacieuse, pas très loin d'héraklion le jardin avec les citronniers, les espaces extérieurs.tout était super avec des rafraîchissements et de quoi déjeuner offert

The house and the yard are big. Quiet as well. Lovely trees in the garden. Not far from airport. Air con in every room. Good value as well. The owner was lovely. We had a small delay and he contacted us to make sure all ok. We arrived late so we could not meet him. He left some treats and water in the fridge for us which was lovely .

− House has old furniture as expected from pictures, and it has a specific smell. Which was fine with us as we were away for the day. We wanted a place close to airport and good on price so we can have a good nice sleep and shower.

A nightmare, not a vacation home

− This stay was absolutely traumatic. The property looked nothing like the pictures shown on Booking. As soon as we walked in, we were overwhelmed by a horrible smell—like something dead. The place was filthy, with cobwebs everywhere and unacceptable hygiene conditions. There was no phone signal, the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all, and every window had been nailed shut from the inside with large metal spikes—making it impossible to open them, even in case of an emergency. The house was in the middle of nowhere, and when my sister sat on the single bed, it literally collapsed under her. At 3 AM, the six of us had no choice but to leave the house and look for another place to stay in the middle of the night. I find it outrageous that a property like this is still listed on Booking. I feel completely deceived and abandoned by the platform. I strongly advise anyone against booking this place.
