− Bed bugs. None of the outlets in the apartment were working, after asking for help it was not fixed. We left the room half way through.

Uncomfortable and Impractical

The location is really good. We were attending a 3-day conference that was held at the DoubleTree hotel and this was an easy 8-10 minute walk, and was approximately a 5 minute walk to everywhere else we explored. The room's aesthetic was cool, but impractical in places, and the room and bathroom were very clean. The room had a mini-fridge which was great to cool down our drinks with the hot weather.

− The bed was very hard, quite small for a double, and was very uncomfortable to sleep on. There was a small tower fan which didn't help at all to take the edge off from the heat. One window was broken (which I have noticed has been mentioned in a few other reviews and has still not been fixed) and couldn't be opened while the other had a notable crack between the glass and the window pane, allowing anyone to look right in, which made me feel extremely unsafe given that the windows were at street level and not overly secure. There was also no deadbolt on the door so that added to not feeling like I was in a secure place. While earbuds were left on the pillows for our use, the level of noise was extremely disruptive. When finally managing to fall asleep at around 5am, both me and my partner would get woken up by the bustle of business workers moving carts and such back and forth every morning at around 8am for about 2 hours straight. Not great when you're trying to rest from a busy social conference each day. There was no hot water in the shower - while I could have messaged the managers about this, I simply didn't have time to with our busy and tight schedule. The sink was absolutely tiny, impractical and slow to drain, making washing hands & brushing teeth an unexpected challenge. A couple things missing for things I would expect in any room like this, a toilet roll holder (they were sitting on the shelf behind the toilet which were difficult to grab when you've sat down) and no hand towel (or any towel) holder. There was only ONE plug socket available (without unplugging devices such as the fan, fridge, microwave etc.) which is extremely useless when there's two of you sharing a double room after a long day of being out and about.
