Great accommodation, but the experience didn’t fully match the premium price

The property is beautifully presented and has a genuine luxury feel. The interior was clean, comfortable and well equipped, and the location was peaceful. The management team were polite and did respond to our complaint, arranging for the BBQ to be cleaned the following day and offering a goodwill refund.

− The BBQ was not in a usable condition on arrival as it had not been properly cleaned. We had specifically planned to use it on our first evening as part of a special birthday celebration, so this was a major disappointment. Although the issue was reported immediately, it couldn’t be resolved until the following day, by which time we had already changed our plans. For a premium property costing around £1,800 for three nights, I would expect all advertised facilities to be ready for use when guests arrive. Better pre-arrival checks would help prevent the same issue for future guests.

Great location literally a few steps from the lower ferry ! Comfortable and spacious! Needed a bit of tlc in terms of cleaning !

Overall it was a good location and served us well, some of the furniture was tired and needed repair. Be extremely wary

− It wasn’t very clean, had to hoover and clean the sofas because of hair etc especially the one by the front window. Looks like a dog had been sleeping on it. Bedrooms also not great.

− Parking was a problem due to very narrow road. There was no sign on the dedicated parking space, luckily we met some locals who told us where it was.
