4.0Close to shopping and train. Rooms very dark with all the black walls including the bathroom. Poor lighting. Triple room was uncomfortably tiny with our 3 large luggage and carryons. Trash wasn’t picked up from room the entire 3 days. One of those days, we were offered additional towels.

8.0A really cute hotel about 15 min walk to Teramachi street. Really cool self service luggage storage system, the whole hotel is designed to be as self service as possible but still have staff on hand if needed. Be warned this hotel is located on a busy junction so not for light sleepers unless you're exhausted. There was a lot of road noise through the night plus road works, I don't usually have issue with noise but I struggled to sleep and had to put earplugs in.

4.0The property and hotel complex are fine, but the only redeeming feature is the location. However, the price-performance ratio is poor. The beds and pillows are very uncomfortable, and the room is tiny. In my case, we were a group of three; you literally can't move, and there's no room for your luggage.

10.0This hotel was hands down amazing. The room was so clean, so nice, extremely aesthetic. There was a dinning area with a balcony overlooking Kyoto. Overall it was just a beautiful hotel. Everything about it was amazing. If I come back to Japan we will be staying at this hotel again, for longer since it was a great experience. There was the best 7/11 in all of Japan located right at the bottom of the hotel too. Everything was so convenient and great. 10/10.
