8.0Very fun and colorful. The custom soap details were a nice touch. The staff was nice. The speakeasy bar was a fun touch too!
− The carpet and other surfaces in our room were visibly dirty. I think the person who cleaned our room missed a couple items on their checklist. The suitcase stand was missing a screw. The pool area was nice, but the fun paint details on the ground in that area could use a touch up.

Beware of hidden charges

− Having paid about $145 a night for our stay, I was surprised to be informed on arrival, there was parking and amenities as extras. This equates to about $24 a night. Apparently the amenities include, the dressing gown, swimming pool and free popsicles. The pool you cannot use for a morning swim before 10am?? There is a bar on site and unfortunately for both nights of our stay we woken up by people returning to their rooms worse for the wear. Additionally the cleanliness of the bathroom and behind the beds and tv area needs addressing. The bed is not comfortable. I did challenge the extra charges on arrival but was informed it was clear on booking.com. To me it is not, I can see they charge for parking(why?) but I cannot see the amenities charge. I was told someone from management would contact me to address my concerns, but they did not, so felt compelled to write this review so others can see what the actual cost of their booking will be.
