Lovely hotel - restaurant and bar excellent. Hotel maintenance, not so great.
7.0It's a beautiful historic hotel in an active location in Little Rock.
− There was a problem with the water in the sinks and showers - there was no cold or cool water. The shower was so scalding hot you could not take a shower - not only in my room, but in my son's room, as well. I brought it up to the desk clerk, she made a note, but no apology nor effort to rectify or reduce the price of the room.
A beautiful hotel with character and charm
10.0When we visited Little Rock, we were hoping to find a hotel with some character, in a great location, and with strong reviews. TripAdvisor led us to The Capital Hotel, and it was a wonderful choice. We loved everything about it, starting with its excellent downtown location. The hotel is full of history and beautifully maintained, and it has the biggest hotel elevator we’ve ever seen. Our room was spacious, and the mattress was so comfortable that it practically guaranteed a great night’s sleep. The staff were warm, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay. If you’re planning a trip to Little Rock, The Capital Hotel is definitely worth considering for your stay.

10.0We arrived at the fabulous Capital Hotel Friday afternoon to check-in, but soon realized we did not have reservations as we thought we did.The expert reservationist Matt Nunn worked some magic and found us two rooms despite the hotel being sold out due to the wedding we were in town for. Thank you thank you! Matt was so professional and calm while working quickly to make things work out. I also enjoyed speaking to Matt about the history of this wonderful building. The Capital Hotel is a true gem and Matt Nunn is one of its many treasures!

10.0− You must accommodate customers with walk in showers. ITS A MUST. Too much liability to have customers stepping into a tub. Hatred that part of my experience
