2.0I booked this property through Expedia for my family of five, expecting a clean, safe, and comfortable stay. Unfortunately, the experience was the complete opposite. After a long day of travel with three young kids, we arrived to a room that smelled musty, was uncomfortably hot (AC was too small to cool it), and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The bedding seemed unwashed, the bathroom was moldy, the towels were ripped, and the floor was dirty. The front door had visible damage, like it had been previously kicked in and poorly repaired. We carried all our luggage up to the second floor ourselves — no staff offered help. The area felt unsafe, with people watching from across the street. The second room they offered us looked just as bad. We immediately packed up and left. While we’re still working with Expedia for a refund (the hotel is being difficult), I want to be clear: I would never put my family’s safety and comfort at risk over $600. Yes, I’m upset about the money, but peace of mind on vacation is priceless. I hope this review helps other families avoid the same mistake. What you see online is not what you get.
