9.0So central to Killyleagh. We walked down to the waterfront and the Smugglers Inn in under 10 mins. 1 minute too The Dufferin Arms.

Beautiful seaside stay in an historic village
8.0Great location, feels safe and near shops and cafes. Amazing sea view from the bedroom! The stunning castle is just up the road. The apartment is lovingly maintained with cooker, oven, fridge, washing machine and washing line in yard. Comfy beds, clean bed linen and towels. Friendly and communicative host.
− After paying in full, I got a message asking to pay another £300 via an outside link... then a request for another £150 on top of that! I did not pay either (I tried to pay the £150 extra requested 'deposit', seemed fair enough, but my bank flagged and rejected it). My trip went fine, but it was really worrying. I was unsure if the property listing was even truly real until I arrived. Still not sure if the extra money requests were a miscommunication, an automated bug, or the host was hacked in a scam.
Driftwood Loft was a nice, cosy and warm place for us to stay while visiting family over Christmas.
7.0The venue was very central in Killyleagh within easy walk of all local sites. We stayed to visit family over Christmas and it suited our purposes very well.
− Although we were able to manage, we did not have enough bath towels for our party of 4 and there were no bin liners for the bins. Easy WiFi access should also be a standard expectation for guests.
Just the place for a weary group of pilgrims!
