6.0Bed was comfortable, staff were very friendly. Rooms are small but good for one person. Bathroom isn’t great…not the cleanest and the shower is not separated from the rest of the bathroom at all. This is different from the pictures on the site. When you shower, the toilet and everything else gets wet.

10.0Chose the Villa Brown as a home base for 10 days while visiting Israel. Excellent value for the money. Great location. Great breakfast. The entire staff is just great. Very accommodating and helpful. Would highly recommend.

8.0I liked that my room had a partial view of the Mediterranean Sea. I liked that the hotel is a converted villa. I asked for a room away from the main road, Yarkon St., but such a room wasn't available. I was woken up a few times at night by honking, and trucks, buses, and motorcycles accelerating. Tel Aviv prides itself as being a 'city that never sleeps,' and this translates into vehicular traffic throughout the night. The villa is only three stories, and about half of the rooms are facing the main road. If you are a heavy sleeper, if shouldn't be an issue. If you are a light sleeper, and you staying in the half of the building facing the street, you may hear the noise, even with the air conditioner on. That was my experience. I share this in the spirit of caveat emptor-- let the buyer beware.
