8.0Clean and comfortable. Lovely newly refurbished bathroom. Friendly staff and nice meal at the pub next door. Nice park across the road and nice views to the rear of the cottages.
− Limited parking but landlord made sure we have space to park so no complaints

− Fridge,microwave and toaster were in the room but doesn’t appear to be mentioned on website - best to rectify this as great benefit to user. cutlery would be good as mini self contained room
Excellelent home cooked food, comfortable and friendly stay
7.0The location was great both for the countryside and the Royal Oak pub next door which did excellent home cooked breakfasts & evening meals. The portions were really generous and the 22 options of gluten free food was first class! The atmosphere in the pub was very friendly and homely. I can understand why some people travel here on a regular basis. It was a pleasant surprise to have a fridge and a microwave.
− They had just updated the shower room to a high standard but unfortunately there was a leak under the floor and so smelt damp. To be fair they didn't realise this until I mentioned it and are now going to rectify it. Once this is sorted I would have given an overall marking of 9 out of 10.
