Quick overnighter at Lochsa Lodge
6.0The restaurant food was terrific. The setting and atmosphere of the lodge and cabins was great.
− The restaurant / lodge was understaffed. It took far too long to get checked in due to the host performing dual duties. It took a long time to get seated and served for dinner, even in the bar, even though several waitresses would walk up to the waiting customer and not acknowledge or say anything. Regarding our cabin, it was quaint and cozy, but the beds were not very comfortable - probably time to upgrade the mattresses. The room did not have a refrigerator, microwave, or TV. Those absences were not clearly evident when I selected the cabin.

− We've been told there are just 2 remotes for ACs at the property so there was no remote in the cabin hence we were not able to control climate in the room.
Cozy
10.0My husband and I were making our way home from WA down to Louisiana on a road trip. We could t find anywhere to stay, but luckily ended up here. The cabins are so cute and the staff were so kind. I loved that it had everything we needed in one spot. We didn’t arrive until after 9 pm and were able to get a hot meal. I loved the gift shop section and bought myself a set of pajamas. I wasn’t prepared for the colder weather. I have nothing bad to say about this place. And I am trying to think of reasons to come up north just to stay again.

10.0Gorgeous lodge in the woods. It’s an experience and a place to be immersed in. Will be back for sure. It takes us out of this messy world we are in and you are with Mother Nature
