The Gaiety is a great flat with amazing views
8.0Lovely large flat with amazing views and close to the Royal George where we had an excellent meal, and to other amenities. The balcony was great, although the chairs on it rather rusty.
− Only one light was working in the ensuite bathroom for the main bedroom, so it was hard to see in there when dark outside. Decided not to contact the owner as we were only there for 2 nights.
Comfortable , bright , airy , very near to central location
9.0This place is located very near to happening Appledore promenade .it has lovely estuary view from balcony . The slanting roof give’s sense of change from usual setup and brings in holiday mood. We found everything that we need for 3 nights stay .the car parking is nearby , it was a comfortable stay .
− The Balcony needs some workout . The tea table and chair at balcony need replacement . Probably some sort of covering might help to avoid pigeons dirts . Nevertheless, it’s clean enough to enjoy the view .
Well located apartment with view
7.0The location of the apartment is fab. It’s well placed and has an amazing view from the balcony. The kitchen is good but like other reviewers note, it’s in the eaves and taller people might bang their heads.
− No fan supplied even when asked. Surprised as the apartment is owned by the George, which surely has fans for its guests? The bedroom with the king bed is west facing and in hot weather there isn’t a cross breeze to help cool that room so it was quite uncomfortable at night. Cosmetic repair required in some rooms and there’s a broken tile in the master bedroom bathroom that has some sharp edges. Might be worth popping some grout down to reduce the risk of cutting a foot.
Fantastic location and lovely apartment .
8.0Location and balcony was perfect. Clean and lovely. Balcony furniture is rusty needs updating. Also wine glasses don’t fit in dishwasher(small point but measure them ! ) Doors need door stops .. sloping ceilings, not your fault at all, but caused a couple of head bumps. but otherwise great location and a great apartment . We loved it ..
