9.0The location was perfect - walking distance to all the sights. The breakfast was excellent - great selection and quality. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were helpful.
− I was given a room at the back of the hotel, and the receptionist said it would be quiet, as there wouldn’t be much traffic on the back street. Actually, there was quite a bit of traffic, including city and tour buses. Also, the blackout curtains on the window near the bathroom let in quite a bit of light through gaps between them and the window frames (I was staying in June, during the midnight sun).

10.0Lovely hotel in a central, but quiet location. The staff were quite welcoming and helpful. We will stay here again on our next trip to Reykjavik.

− An explanation from staff that key card slots turn on lights etc. an explanation that roomkey reader is black and above door handle as hallways are very dark , door is dark and reader is dark color.
