I stayed here on a Friday night, the location is peaceful and the host was very friendly, had a great chat about sport. The room was clean and full of character with plenty of space. Onsite parking made it a doddle. The lake side position is fantastic and you can even go for a swim of kayak.

− The breakfast lacked based on what I had read about and expected, especially at this price point. Not sure if I was there on a bad day, (It was a Saturday morning) yet it was quite dry, could have done with some jams, toast and perhaps some freshly cooked omelettes or similar. There was also a lot of single use plastic used, however this is a theme in the USA where convenience wins over sustainability.

Scammer on the lake

The outside was beautiful and they had a great variety of plants. The location is close to cassadega and thats honestly the two great things about it.

− The owner was not friendly or helpful with anything. He honestly proceeded to gas light me and manipulate and or deflect any situation that came about and here's why.. when I first got there they advertised a variety of pictures, almost like I was getting an Airbnb. I sware the pictures I saw that were advertised, I never saw at this establishment at all. Its a 100 percent scam. What this man did was shoved me and my 3 travelers in a small upstairs room with a long list of rules that were rude and inviting. He gave us 1 extra blanket in a drawer for my friend that he said hadnt been washed in two weeks and the comforter on the bed had a taped bed sheet. I asked him about it and he told me we'll the blankets arent for covering up anyways. I had to beg for extra towels. It was hot and stuffy. I even asked him to move rooms and he told me yes and that it would be ready when I got back from sight seeing and when I got back he never said anything about it again. The breakfast was not good it wasnt even continental at best. It was a few oranges bananas and heat up oatmeal. He had mold in his filtered water. and he also made me pay 75 dollars a person per night and then ended up hitting me with 3 different, high, credit card fees because he did it so many times. The reasoning for that was to accommodate for the extra guests but he had not one thing in there that suggested the money went to anything and treated me badly any time I proceeded to ask. He didnt even have a proper fridge in the room but that wouldn't matter because you are not allowed to eat, drink, or have fun there anyways. He told us all to be quiet before we even settled in and the best part is that there was pee on the floor in the bathroom but of course when I told him this and about how dirty it was up there he blamed it on being some fallen varnish from 20 years ago? Im so sorry if he ends up forcing you to stay here like he did me and my friends.

The location was minutes from Cassadaga and Blue Cypress Lake. There is a lake across the property with recliner chairs where we sat and drank some wine and relaxed. The pullout bed was a plus, but it wasn’t as comfortable. Not a problem. Breakfast was continental style and the hot came out to offer us cream cheese and made us espresso with the machine. There was also coffee (pods) available 24/7 downstairs. It’s a small place, but we were comfortable and only stayed one night. Worth it.

− It has central air, so if it gets hotter you will not be able to adjust the temperature. But, there was a ceiling fan that helped.

Die Lage ist hervorragend. Wir haben sie genutzt, um von dort aus Cape Canaveral und Daytona Beach zu besuchen und haben am Abend die ruhige Umgebung genutzt. Der Besitzer ist kommunikativ, der Empfang war sehr freundlich und es wurden Ausflugsempfehlungen gegeben. Auch steht eine große Anzahl an Informationsmaterial zur Verfügung. Man kann sich jederzeit über eine Kapselmaschine einen Kaffee zubereiten.

− Die Fotos auf dem Buchungsportal entsprechen nicht dem Realzustand. Die Anlage ist vernachlässigt und ungepflegt und bedarf umfangreicher Renovierung. Im Bad waren viele Haare auf dem Boden und in der Badewanne. Die Vorleger im Bad sollten unbedingt ausgetauscht werden. Das Frühstück kann man als gerade ausreichend bezeichnen. Befremdlich ist, dass der (simple) Kaffeeautomat nur durch den Besitzer bedient werden darf. Die Klimaanlage unter unserem Fenster war extrem laut.
