Great location, but over-priced (dark cabin, external bathroom (not too clean) and untidy yard).
5.0People at general store and restaurant (the Wood Shed) are very nice and location (50 minutes to Mt. Rainier National Park entrance) is great. Other hotels outside of the park are very expensive.
− $100 a night for a modest cabin, external bathroom (not too clean) and an untidy yard around the cabins is too much.

5.0The gentleman that I spoke with on the phone was super friendly. I never did meet kim, the on-site camp host. And I liked the fact that it was out away from town and there was no City noise.
− The showers were extremely dirty, I don't know when the last time that they had been swept and mopped. The grounds themselves look like they barely had been kept up. And to get to the water was quite a walk, where I kind of feel like it was advertised the river would be a little bit closer to the cabins.
Off the beaten path, quant and quiet!
9.0We really enjoyed how quiet it was for us and our dogs to get away from the 4th of July fireworks. The restaurant the food was great. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I hope whomever buys the property decides to make it amazing for our next stay in town! Great place to unplug from technology. Love the river being so close.
− I was a little bummed the restaurant/bar was closed that Saturday we had booked. We got to go in town and hit a local dive bar that allowed dogs.

3.0− Poor cleanliness of bathroom
Affordable getaway spot with great people
7.0The food and service at The Wood Shed was great and the grocery staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved seeing the cat Marshmallow every time we stepped outside as well, was a definite plus! The bed was super comfortable as well.
− The bathroom was a bit run down and dirty but not horrible. The cabin could have used a chair for back support as well as I've had multiple surgeries. The love seat had a big mystery stain so we didn't use it.
Great convenient stay for getting into nature.
8.0Staff were helpful and reasonable and interacting at the attached market + restaurant was all good. Cabins were just what we needed and signed up for. Location great for visiting Mt Rainier.
− Walls of cabin very thin, could hear couple next door arguing very clearly late at night.
