I cannot recommend staying at this place until they have addressed stated issues.
3.0Nice neighborhood. Lap blankets on couch nice touch, very helpful since the heat didn't work. Property has potential but is lacking right now!
− We had neither hot water nor heat when we arrived. There aren't any house instructions provided beyond mention of a switch to turn on heat, which we did to no effect. We attempted to contact someone about the lack of hot water before realizing there wasn't any heat either. Luckily the utility closet wasn't locked and I was able to find a secondary switch for the water heater that had been turned off, so we did have hot water due to my own troubleshooting (plumber on vacation). When I reached out to the company after 36 hours with no response I was told that because I had fixed the hot water issue, there was not a problem with their lack of response?! The property is a somewhat haphazard remodel of part of a multistory building~ flooring that moves when walked on, missing baseboards, use of power strips to plug many things into one outlet, a broken floor lamp propped against a wall, kitchen sink outfitted with bathroom taps (too close to side of sink to be able to easily fill a pot or rinse dishes), windowsills and radiators haven't been cleaned in quite some time. The location is nice, the neighbors were kind, and a little more attention to detail would go far, but the lack of response when there is no hot water or heat upon a guests arrival makes this place a poor choice of accommodations.
