4.0The ‘family’ room has no air conditioning. The upstairs rooms apparently do. We visited during some of the hottest days of the period and were provided one small fan. No inquiry by staff/owners about whether room was tolerable given known high temperatures. The folks that run the place were on property only in morning during our stay, no one on property in evening/night during that period (you call and leave a phone message if you have an issue). Property grounds very run down, surrounding town is shuttered, non-existent price list as to ‘water and coffee’ charges (you are provided a charge on checkout if you asked for water or additional coffee). There are much better ‘chateau’ stay experiences available in the region to choose from.

10.0Amazing family run boutique hotel, super welcoming. Fantastic room, fantastic pool. The village is very sleepy but that is part of the charm. We would love to come back.
