The decor was amazing, but what was even more impressive was the VIEW from all levels of the property. The staff, Mr. Okan, Mert, Malika, etc. were all astoundingly hospitabie, warm, helpful and friendly. The staff are a huge part of the charm and ambiance of this beautiful property. Oh, and the Turkish breakfast served is worth the stay alone! Location is fantastic to shops restaurants, ferries. I could go on and on about this property! One of the best in all my travels especially for the price!

Charming structure and great view

We had a room with a fantastic view, and I recommend this as the most meaningful way to make use of the hillside location. The terrace area where breakfast is served was quite pleasant, and the restaurant staff were very friendly. It was very quiet and yet not too far from central shops and restaurants.

− This place is definitely not for the disabled. The rooms are spread out over multiple levels, so there is a lot of stair walking. The staff were very helpful with the luggage, so that made it easier, but older people might struggle with the steps. There is even a step right outside the bathroom leading into the main room — totally unnecessary and unexpected. I tripped on it twice! One minor but annoying detail: there was no back-up roll of toilet paper on supply in the room. There are no tv stations (only pay to stream options) on the tv. The shower only produced cold water for me, and my friends staying in another room indicated that the temperature was irregular but tolerable for them. The bedspread is not a substantial blanket but a rather thin bedspread. There is no iron or steamer in the room, but there were slippers and robes provided.

Its a lovely peaceful place right in the centre of town. Very convenient for port area and close to the seafront promenade. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast was great with lots of choice of traditional Turkish cuisine all served to your table. Some additional choices were on offer. The pool area was great, not large but very private and relaxing and we had it to ourselves. The rooftop terrace was fabulous with amazing views, especially in the evening and for sunset. There is a taxi rank just below the hotel by the main road.

− There were a lot of steps up to the hotel, but the hotel staff helped with luggage carrying so it was easy enough. If you struggle with lots of steps this hotel is not for you as although it is quirky, attractive and interesting there are lots of levels only accessible by steps.
