Such kind hosts - left us lots of coffee and fridge supplies and the house was neat and clean and comfortable - the bbq are was well stocked and the hosts came and cleaned the pool and reset the BBQ and were just lovely! Peaceful quiet location - lovely clean pool and pool area and plenty of bathrooms and storage.

A wonderful relaxing retreat

We normally head to the coast but decided this property seemed to offer such spectacular views that we had to give it a try. The house was spotless on arrival and very well equipped. There were nice touches such as a coffee maker, the indoor Croatian barbeque and a multitude of supplies to get us going, including a bottle of local wine. We absolutely loved the location of this property and the views from the patio and pool area. The village of Gornje Sitno is small and peaceful but has two places serving local food and there are various food shops within approximately 15 minutes drive. The number 28 bus from the village terminates in Split and using the Promet Split app cost one euro per person to get into central Split. We drove to Trogir, which is very quaint and also took a lengthy walk up the mountain along some of the well signed tracks, eventually ending up at a walkers hostel. The owners were very thoughtful and managed to clean the pool on alternate days before we woke in the morning. The only issue we had was a broken kettle and they replaced it within four hours. It was a wonderful few days and we wish we had been able to spend more time in this lovely property.

Het was erg schoon. En bij aankomt hadden ze een paar boodschapjes gedaan. Alles zat wel in de villa wat je nodig had . Zwembad was in het begin koud maar toen we vroegen of de verwarming aan mocht was het zwembad zo warm. We hebben een fijne 2 weken vakantie gehad. De rit naar boven is 15 min dat vonden wij het enige min puntje maar niet storend omdat het een mooie route is. De mensen van de villa zijn erg aardig en behulpzaam en je kunt ze altijd vragen als je iets nodig hebt .

The property was absolutely spotless, I will never forget the amazing views, the hosts were incredible any issues were dealt with promptly, even to helping us book a restaurant where English wasn’t spoken. I cannot recommend this villa enough, it’s honestly the most relaxing break we have ever had. It is in the mountains, we did not hire a car and used Ubers and the local buses, which with the app were cheaper and you could track - the local bus is a few minutes walk and takes you to the local beaches and into split - The pool area is private, and kept very clean - the owner is there every other morning cleaning and making it ready for the day - we was never disturbed - We stayed for two weeks and could have stayed forever, if you are in doubt you will not be disappointed. We have made the most amazing memories!
