Not worth the hassle

Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen nice and equipped well. Great location to town

− Couch has seen better days. It’s sunken in an embarrassing. The host company is Horrible. Sent me an email I could add another night- which I did. When I arrived I didn’t have door code so emailed them. Sent me a $50 waiver they “forgot” and said my reservation wasn’t until Monday. I said I added another night and they acknowledged it. I was pretty sure I’d been scammed. Stood outside for an hour in the dark and cold while they tried to figure out what to do. I finally had to send THEM proof I paid and still had to wait for them to figure out how to reset the door code. Frankly I want my 118 for that night back as it set a terrible tone for the whole trip

We would definitely stay again!!!

We loved the location and the view from the front porch! It was close to all the activities we had planned. I loved all the deer that stopped by for a visit!

− Other than the floor being unlevel…it was a bit caddywampass…once we got used to it (and we were sober lol) it wasn’t too bad!

Location was awesome! Close to downtown so we were able to walk instead of having to find a parking spot and pay for parking.

Very nice small charming and well maintained house with a front porch and an outside seating area in a quiet neighborhood. 2 min walk down the hill from restaurants, stores, and lively friendly Manitou downtown. Felt immediately at home. The house is fully equipped and felt complete. There was even coffee, salt, pepper, and other basic ingredients as well as dishwasher tabs. Big fridge, great stove and oven. 20-minute walk from the Barr trail, which I hiked up to Pike Peaks, great place to relax at when coming back.

− The only minor minus was the air based AC/heating, which was very loud and started very frequently when outside temperatures approached the freezing point at night. It was always warm inside but obviously a waste of energy in a badly insolated house, so typical for the US.
