I would not be recommending this hotel to friends & family, especially for summer periods.

Limited tradition English and continental breakfast options but the omelette was great. Location to nearby tourist spots was good.

− The full breakfast had simple supermarket sausages, i was expecting some delicious Welsch sausages. The rooms did not have air conditioning which made the stay very uncomfortable in the summer. Our room had a bath tub and handheld shower, not the most comfortable set up. The single rooms had the tiniest sink that I've ever seen in the bathroom. You cannot even fit your hands under the tap when washing your hands - forget washing your face or toothbrush without getting the floor very wet. The ambiance was very dull in the hotel and restaurant area. Car parking spaces were very limited and parking on nearby streets is risky. Walking around the town did not feel safe with family. No room with a view here, just tired old neglected buildings and houses if you do get a view from your window. Unfortunately, no reason to take any photos of or in the hotel here. Only 20 minutes drive to the Four Waterfalls spot.

- Big room for our family of 4 - Central spot in Ebbw Vale - Awesome service from the front desk We got there super late, so the parking was packed, but John at reception helped us find a spot behind the hotel. And he set everything up for us to eat our takeout in their restaurant area.

Staff where excellent from the guy on reception to the chef doing the brealkfast

− It is just looking very tired. No reflection on the staff. They kept everything clean
