4.0First, let me say Numu hotel is beautiful, great location, the staff lovely and kind, and Pancho the dog is the best mascot.
− In San Miguel? Stay at The Rosewood. Why 2 stars? We had to switch rooms THREE times before we got one with working AC. I like it warm, and still couldn’t sleep the first night. They upgraded us to a slightly nicer room, which we were appreciative of. But the AC still didn’t work properly. Two rooms later, we finally got one that was working. But it was smaller than what we paid for and at the front of the hotel which is quite nosy. The hotel offered us massages. (We had already had them the day before and didn’t need another). Then offered us a ride to the airport (we had prepaid and booked transport). And lastly a free night for a future stay, which is unreasonable considering it’s a 13 hour travel day for us. We asked to be reasonably compensated for the downgrade. Manager refused to talk with us directly. 5 star hotel looks, but if you book, expect to be warm.

10.0The location was great. Breakfast was good, but everything was a little expensive. The welcome drink was an absolute treat. The staff that I met Mariana, Bruno, Jorge and David were all amazing.
