10.0The property is fantastic and set up well. The host are great and a lot of fun to hang out with. The pool is a nice touch. They have a nice lounge with a TV and a nice kitchen area. They have free bikes. They will do laundry for you on site. The bathrooms are very clean and offer some privacy even though they are not located in the rooms. They have a honesty bar where you can grab a beer or a Coke and drop a few bucks in a cup next to the fridge. They had some nice things in the room like toothbrushes, a small tube of toothpaste, shampoo, and a comb. I didn’t realize that the room didn’t have air conditioning, but they lhad a nice ceiling fan and an oscillating stick fan in the room so it wasn’t bad. The only thing I would suggest is better mattresses. I could feel the springs poking through the mattress in our room. It’s new. It’s just very basic and not very comfortable. All in all we had a fantastic time at Royal Rat and we would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

10.0We bare-boated a catamaran out of The Moorings and this location was perfect and very affordable. The hosts were excellent and helpful. Free bikes and several good dining options close by. Thanks! I hope to come again!
