10/10 – An unforgettable night, exactly as promised
10.0We booked X Hotel Salem for our anniversary, not entirely sure what to expect, and left already planning our return. The moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcome without a single awkward moment. Check-in was quick, warm and wonderfully discreet, and every member of staff we met, from reception to housekeeping, was polite, attentive and ready to help with anything we asked. Our themed room was spotlessly clean and designed with real imagination. The decor, the lighting and the corner jacuzzi created exactly the romantic, playful atmosphere we were hoping for, and the bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve slept in. Everything worked perfectly: the air conditioning, the Wi-Fi, even the little details like the blackout curtains that let us sleep in as long as we liked. Breakfast was brought to our door at the time we chose, and it was far more generous than we expected. We ate it in bed, in no hurry, which was the perfect start to the day. Privacy is clearly taken seriously here. At no point did we feel disturbed, and everything is handled with elegance and respect for the guests. The location is also very practical. The metro is a short walk away, so we were in the centre of Athens within minutes, and there is easy parking right at the hotel. For us this was more than a hotel stay. It was a proper escape for two, with service that exceeded every expectation. We recommend it without hesitation to any couple looking for a special night, and we will definitely be back.
